Hello, and welcome to the official Süp's Kitchen blog, created and updated by your favorite radio DJ/host with the most, emcee Süp127!

This is the first blog posting ever, and so I will tell you what my show is all about: real HIPHOP. Süp's Kitchen exists to serve the public with healthy portions of the most conscious hiphop available, whether it is with live emcees and deejay's tearing it up in the studio, or in the mix, with conscious hiphop songs by artists both local and international. Striving to bring hiphop's consciousness to that universal level, Süp's Kitchen is often an outlet for local artists to express their feelings on any issues, whether it is to speak about local events, criticize government, raise environmental concerns, or to criticize social standards. Really, anything is fair game.

In a world so plagued by commercialization, hiphop is under attack! Or rather, hiphop is underground. As the grip of the RIAA tightens, recording artists that wish to preserve their integrity and mission as a musician are forced to operate by means other than mainstream. The birth of a new hiphop nation is in the works, as more and more successful artists are independent and unsigned. Aired on pirate radio station FRSC, Süp's Kitchen is not constrained by the regulations of the RIAA, the FCC, the FDA, or any other government agency. Süp's Kitchen exists for the preservation of Hiphop, as defined by KRS-ONE & The Temple of Hip Hop in the Hiphop Declaration of Peace (http://www.templeofhiphop.org/). That means Süp's Kitchen supports the emancipation of all oppressed people all over the world! Hate-Free Speech Conscious Hiphop Radio! Süp's Kitchen does NOT support the slandering or exploitation of Hiphop in any/way/shape/form. Promote a responsible, educated hiphop community near you!

PLEASE NOTE: due to the corruption of hiphop's consciousness promoted by the mainstream media, "purifying" it remains an active task. All artists featured on Süp's Kitchen are given this same task and responsibility to maintain the purity of their own consciousness while on the air. Still, Süp's Kitchen apologizes, and is not responsible for 'accidental spins' or 'featured artists' that slip through the cracks of the filtration process and do not uphold the desired standards of consciousness.
